Tonight, I learned that I took pain medication that is used to treat cancer patients.
Wow, that’s bizarre to think about! Never in my life would I compare the pain I endure to the struggle of someone with cancer. The word ‘cancer’ carries far more of a heavy connotation than ‘inflamed pancreas.’ What I deal with is SO much less… so I’ve been told.
